Zeke's Square Dance

Tijd voor een favoriete Midas! Deze is van heel lang geleden.
Ik ben dol op levende optische illusies, zoals de beroemde man op de struisvogel, of de danseres met de gorilla.
Hier doet Midas er eentje.
Ik zie dat ik aardig aan het schetsen ben geweest, want ik vertrouwde erop dat de tekenaar alles zou doen om de gag te verknoeien. Maar ik geloof dat het uiteindelijke resultaat nogal meeviel.

Time for one of my favorite Zekes! This one is from a long, long time ago.
I am a sucker for living optical illusions, like the famous man on an ostrich, or the female dancer with a gorilla.
Here Zeke pulls one off.
I see now that I did a lot of sketching, as I was sure the rendering artist would do everything to spoil the gag. But I think the final result wasn't so bad after all.

The final result looks sufficient, but my criticism this time is that the story is indexed at INDUCKS under the title "Driekwarts maat", which loses my original wordplay "Driekwarts maal" (maat = beat, maal = meal, while "driekwarts maat" is the beat of a waltz).
